We hold monthly work parties throughout the year at several Miller Bay preserves. We can always use more volunteers! Come out, meet neighbors and members who care about our environment! Be sure to sign the waiver on our Volunteer Page and sign up via email so we know you're coming.​ Work as little or as much as you want during the allocated timeframe. Hope to see you soon!

4th Quarter 2026 Schedule

• Sat. Sept 12: 9am–1pm Cowling Creek Forest Preserve - Parking at 20221 Miller Bay Rd NE, across from 20248 Miller Bay Rd NE- Treat invasive Holly & Knotweed, trail building, remove roadside litter. 

• Sat. Oct 10: 9am–1pm Miller Bay Preserve - 22986 Miller Bay Rd NE- Remove ivy & blackberry, trail building & remove roadside litter.

• Sat. Nov 14: 9am–1pm Cowling Creek Forest Preserve - across from 20248 Miller Bay Rd NE- Inject invasive Holly & Knotweed, trail building and  roadside garbage clean up.

• Sat. Dec 12: 9am-1pm Miller Bay Preserve - 22986 Miller Bay Rd NE- Remove ivy & blackberry, trail building & remove roadside litter.
